Bob do you think inflation and interest rates are causing the recent downturn in the market. You would think the market would have all this factored in?

Yes, I think the rise in longer term rates are having an impact. I also think the market was due for some consolidation of the gains off the October low.

Is there an update available on Megnachip, symbol MX. The deal to take MX private by Wise Road Capital in 2021 was not completed. Recently MX announced the company plans to split into two separate business units. DH

Hi DH,

Nothing new on MX other than the plan to run the company as two divisions (for sale?) and a new $50MM buyback which represents about 15% of shares at current prices. Phone market been in the doldrums for awhile now.

Perhaps you mean VFSTX -- the only diff here is the 'admiral' vs 'investor' share class @ vanguard. Use 'admiral' if you meet the min requirements.
